Fabric Passion Forum Magazines from Around the World! 9 *LINK* *PIC* Posted By: Dana Lacy Chapman Greetings!
We are not quite through with our tour of the world through the magazines we carry from other lands.
If you have not yet seen Irish Quilting Magazine, it is a good read! This comes to us six times a year. I so like the idea that these magazines come to us from these other countries where their quilters share a love. It is kind of like getting a letter (remember those?). Part of the appeal for me of a letter is that the person who sent it touched it.
Each issue brings regular features including a list of shows to take visit (all over the world!), product, fabric, and book reviews, tutorials, winners, artist profiles… these re so fun to read, as I can almost hear the Irish in them!
Projects… lots of projects! Some with Irish design influences, some with the love of babies everywhere. We are truly an international community, and these international magazines show us what we have in common, and provide perspectives from which we can join hands with others in the pursuit of our passion!
There is always a tutorial on some aspect of quilting that is full of good tips and instruction.
Contests are listed, including challenges. Have you ever taken advantage of the chance to participate in a challenge? It can be a very growing experience!
Do you know “yarnbombing?” There is an international day honoring it on June 9!
You know, Luana is planning a tour of the Emerald Isle, including a visit to the premier of the International Quilt Festival of Ireland! You can read more about this chance of a life time at the following link:

A fabulous adventure awaits you in this tour and in Irish Quilting Magazine!
