This traditional design featuring an ageless calligraphic motif and simple flower impressions, will be a very special addition to your stash of out of the ordinary fabrics due to the ancient rice paste resist technique that was used to create the design. This technique, also called tsutugaki, means that rice paste is brushed through a stencil and the cloth is then dipped in a cold vegetable dye. 24" panel, rice paste resist on a loose weave light weight canvas fabric.
