Part of a collection of heirloom botanicals, this wonderful design features one of gardeners' most cherished flowers - the hydrangea. It can be used as a separate wallhanging or be combined with the other floral designs in the collection to make a large quilt. Done with a raw edge, fusible appliqué technique, it is quick to assemble. Lots of great quilting hints are included! Fabric requirements include: 3/8 yard for background; 1/4 yard for binding; a variety of fabrics that are no larger than 1/8 yard; 1/2 yard for backing; thin batting approximately 27" square; 1 yard of Steam-a-Seam II; large Teflon pressing sheet.
