Woven ribbons and holly leaves circle the borders of this wonderful angel wall quilt. A peace dove with an olive branch is nestled in her arms in a tender embrace. Locks of golden curls swirl about her head. Beads add touches of shine to the starry night sky and her radiant halo. Done in the fusible appliqué technique, it is quick to assemble. Her lovely face is easy to do by tracing the drawing included and following our simple instructions. Lots of hints for great quilting on the hair and wings are included, plus a great close-up photo for reference. Fabric requirements include: 2/3 yd for background; 1/4 yd flesh fabric for face and hands; 1/8 yd for dove; 1/4 yd for blouse; 2/3 yd for dress, bows, berries, woven ribbon; 1/3 yd for hair; 1/4 yd of each 4 fabrics for hair; 3/4 yd for border; 1/8 yd for holly and olive leaves; 1/4 yd of sheer fabric for hallo; 1/4 yd for binding; 1 yd for backing; 44" x 36" of thin batting; 5-6 yds of Steam a seam II; white and black acrylic paint; black and brown pigma .01 markers; blush-on makeup for face color; prismacolor colored pencils; teflon pressing sheet for appliqué; magic tape; beads; and a variety of matching sewing and quilting threads.
