With this realistically rendered iris we celebrate the arrival of spring. Designed for a raw edge appliqué, the pattern can be adapted to needle turn as well. Fabric requirements include a variety of pieces no larger than 9" x 9", 10" x 20" for background, 10" by WOF for border and binding, 18" x 22" of fusible web, 18" x 26" of batting, 1/2 yd of backing. Optional notion is 12" x 22" piece of clear vinyl. A wonderful pattern to showcase vibrant batiks and hand-dyes! 'Iris' pattern by Brenda Hermundstad Yirsa, finished size is 14" x 23.25".
