This perfectly balanced and stylized flower pattern amazes us with the intricate details and use of color. Fabric requirements: background and border - 1 3/4 yd of black, inner border - 1/2 yd of stripe, corner squares - 1/4 yd of green and 1/8 yd of turquoise, binding - 1/2 yd of turquoise, backing - 3 1/2 yd, appliqué details - pieces no larger than 1/2 yd in shades of red, turquoise, yellow, gold and green. Additional materials needed: lightweight batting - 63" x 63"; lightweight fusible web - 3 1/2 yd; appliqué pressing sheet; stabilizer; and an assortment of threads.
