Who doesn't have fond memories of driving or owning a "bug"? Create your own "bug" memories in your favorite colors? Designed for satin stitch finish, the pattern can be adapted to raw edge appliqué, or needle turn. Fabric requirements include: 1/3 yd for sky; 1/4 yd for sand; 1/8 yd for curb; Fat Quarters for tree trunk, leaves and clouds; for "Bug" use 8 to 12 coordinating scraps, 1/4 yd cuts of Fat Quarters; 1/4 yd each for inner border and binding; 1/3 yd for outer border; 1 1/2 yd for backing; 1 1/2 yd of fusible web; 1 yd of lightweight stabilizer.
