Capture the highlights of Maryland, including Naval Academy, Maryland Blue Crab, state flower - Black Eyed Susan, state bird - Oriole, state tree - Oak, with this pattern; designed for a raw edge appliqué, but can be adapted to needle turn as well. Fabric requirements include a variety of pieces no larger than 15" x 20" for the appliqué; 1/2 yd for inner scallop border; 1/2 yd for outer border; 2 yd x 18" of Steam a Seam Lite 2; 1/3 yard of fusible stabilizer; 27" x 33" of backing fabric; and 26" x 32" of batting. 'Maryland State Stamp' finished size is about 24" x 31", designed by Debra Gabel of Zebra patterns.
