This small scale, faux shibori print is created using the style and palette that has a timeless, historical background, that will add authenticity to your latest, Asian themed projects. The shibori technique has been in use since the eighth century, and is made by manipulating the fabric by binding it or stitching it prior to the dying process. Blender, larger dots are about 1/8", from the 'Katagami' collection by the Allentown Art Museum for Red Rooster Fabrics.
