The Cadet Cap will provide shade on your face and a spring in your step. Make it with an upbeat print in a sturdy twill or re-purpose a pair of softly worn khakis. The Cadet Cap is fun to make and it's sized to fit the whole family. Fabric Requirements are listed for largest size, smaller sizes will use slightly less fabric: 18" x 26" main fabric for outer hat (Medium to heavyweight fabrics); 18" x 18" fabric for hat lining (light to medium weight fabric ); 6" x 16" lightweight woven fusible interfacing; 6" x 10" Peltex or other ultra-firm, one side fusible stabilizer.
