This wallhanging features two reindeer dashing across the night sky. The appliqué pieces are done with the fusible technique. Lots of wonderful sewing and quilting hints are included to make your project quick and fun to do. Fabric requirements include: 2/3 yd for background; 1/4 yd for inside border; 1 1/4 yd for outside border, binding and reins; 1 1/4 yd for backing; 1/2 yd for back reindeer; 1/2 yd for front reindeer; fat 1/8 for lower fur on chest; fat 1/8 for upper fur on chest; 4 different fabrics for antlers; scraps for eyes, tongue, nostrils and inside ears; 38" x 48" of thin batting; 4-5 yds of Steam a seam II; teflon pressing sheet for appliqué; magic tape; and a variety of matching sewing and quilting threads.
