Hi Luana, just dropped you a note on the quiltart list but should have waited to visit your amazing site first. I also like to do single flowers only I blow them up to very large sized. I even used the huge butterfly ideas in my paintings in my 'Butterfly Shadow' quilt(picture on page is not real good am taking new). Really enjoyed your pictures hope to see some of your quilts soon

Loved your website. I especially liked the animated astrology page. Very cool. You have a very handsome family. Your children are adorable. Glad that you joined our watercolor quilt list. I haven't done one yet but love to lurk and read what everyone else is doing. I will be putting together a Christmas wall hanging soon. Your website looks great. The article on "why" was excellent. I agree with you about the ineffectivness of being addicted to that question. I resonated too with the part about moving into Beginner's Mind. Have you found painting to be an excellent training for this state? I have. I refer to it quite a bit with my drawing and painting students. Seems to not only help us in the seeing and painting but also as training in living in that state continuously.

I'm a mother of two precious daughters, aged 6 and 9. I remember how special their childbirth's were. You have gone through unimaginable pain, I'm sure.
I believe that those of us who have endured a lot of pain in our life make the best healer's. You're a perfect example of this philosophy.
